How to remove primary clutch without puller Polaris ATV?
If you don’t want to buy the proper puller then either tow it to the dealer or a qualified shop and have them pop it off for you or I have used the hydraulic method of tipping the machine on the side and filling the hole with water, Teflon tape your bolt threads and thread it into the clutch.
Is there a problem with the Sportsman 400 clutch?
I’m having a problem with my wife’s Sportsman 400 clutch with EBS. Ever since it was new it has had a jerking problem taking off. You can give it throttle and the bike would move slowly but give it more and it would grab and take off.
What should I do if my Clutch is sticking?
The belt should be very loose and you should be able to remove it by hand. If it is not then the primary clutch is not releasing. If the belt is loose remove it. Then start the engine. As you slowly rev up the engine you should see the clutch halves move towards each other smoothly and then spread apart smoothly as the engine slows.

Why is my Clutch sticking on my Polaris?
To get more precise, when loading into the trailer it requires more throttle but you have to ease on it or it will grab and wheely the bike (not smoth transission of power). I thought this was wierd but also thought it may have been a side effect of the EBS.
