Where is the p20bd code on a Def heater?
So I’ve learned that the P20BD code is specific to the DEF heater circuit that is OUTSIDE of the tank. It is actually embedded in the the fluid supply line, and that is the part that needs to be replaced. Yes, there are other DEF sensor codes that will pop up that may indicate a problem inside of the tank, but this code is not it.

There are 2 different heating systems at work here; one is for the DEF Supply Line and the second is for the DEF Tank Heater. This code is aimed at the DEF Supply Line Heater.
