Why is my Cayenne gateway control unit not working?
My 2008 Cayenne had a periodic error on the multi function screen warning “oil pressure monitoring failure”. It was suggested I reset the Gateway Control Module by pulling fuse #40 and replacing. That fixed the issue! The root cause is likely a ground issue. A ground that is shared with the ignition coils is likely bad.
