When to change transmission fluid in Toyota truck?
Toyota recommends checking the Transmission fluid every 30,000 miles or so in extreme driving conditions; however, they don’t have a set maintenance schedule to service the transmission or change the fluid & filter. So I decided to change mine. The truck had 65,000 miles and the fluid looked dirty to me when I serviced the truck the day before.

BTW, we change oil (Mobil 1) every 10k (after the 60k warrantee)and it still uses only about 1/2 quart in that interval. There is nothing like a lifetime fluid.
