Then rode off with the engine Mgmt light on. Three hot-cold cycles and the light is now off. I assume is all ok. Bike starts fine.

That turned out to be simple tho…a lever. You just get the axl thru then to get it thru the right side hole in the adjuster i use a lever on the pulley against the swingarm. It takes a bit of muscle but it’s no problem. As for the chirp, when adjusted right it’s minimal or non existent.
Is the triumph Tbird 1200 engine a good engine?
And that to was a great bike. On a side note, the new 1200 engine is quiet as a church mouse. I think triumph really nailed it with that engine and hopefully a new bike with a larger version of that engine may come one day and resurrect the Tbird line Who knows.
