My engine light check came on and I took it to the shop and it was the thermostat that needed to be replace and after the thermostat was replace my fan always stays on when the car is started and it never goes off the guy that help me installed my thermostat don’t know what is causing this problem. Click to expand… because you and the mechanic took air and the t-stat out of the equation (no air in the system and a working t-stat). something is still telling the fans to stay on, that leaves the fans temp switch and the relay as potential problems.

Midnight is right on…I had the same issue with fans running continuously. Ordered the replacement fan control module…Removed that portion of the air intake above the radiator…Remove the 2 bolts…Remove the 3 wire harnesses…Reinstall the same way. One of the more straightforward repairs I have had.

Why are my radiator fans running all the time?
I looked it up and its a fail safe when the Radiator Fan Control Module is ready to be replaced. The module is no longer telling when the fan to turn off/on anymore so it just bypasses the module and the fans stay on. I found a replacement on Amazon and did the swap and haven’t had any issues since. Here is the part # Beck Arnley 203-0276
