When did my 2004 Nissan Murano lose power?
On April 6, 2014, my wife and I was returning from the North Georgia Mountains, in ‘her’ 2004 Murano. We were traveling approximately 55 MPH on a state hwy, when the car felt as if it had suddenly downshifted. There was absolutely no warning what-so-ever. There was no loss of electrical power, and the engine itself did not shut down.

Why does my Murano shut off after oil change?
That wouldn’t cause the jerking but it would cause your Murano to shut off. If it’s jerking drain cvt fluid if it’s dark that’s your culprit. Cheap oil change place will put transmission fluid in for cvt fluid and I can promise you it will have your Murano jerking. Also with my cam sensor I got a check engine light.
Why does my Nissan Murano Jerk so much?
The car began to jerk again, then the light came back on the Nissan dealership said it was the catalytic converters and referred me to a muffler shop to cut costs. The muffler shop replaced both as well they stated both oxygen sensors needed to be replaced along with the exhaust manifold. All done.
