Sorry folks, the spring I refer to is the operating spring connected to the load sensor valve. You’ll know if one of the pistons seized as it’ll spear you off one way…..as mine did. Very unlikely both have seized. Brakes are crap especially on the earlier models such as mine so you drive accordingly.

On 1997-2000 Pathfinders, the rear brakes self-adjust every time the parking brake is applied. Fronts self-adjust every time the brake pedal is pressed. On 2001-2004 Pathfinders, both the front and rear brakes self-adjust every time the brake pedal is pressed.
