I have a 1999 yukon denali with RPO code Y91… I completely removed it cause I think they are crap. And installed after market amp HU and speakers including sub of course. But if the radio is not working.. make sure antenna is plugged in or if you have a powered antenna make sure that remote turn on wire is hooked up. Was this answer helpful?

Was this answer helpful? the amp turn on wire in a 2001 Yukon xl without Bose and WITH a factory subwoofer is located in the 9 pin connecter from the back of the radio and the color is pink. you need to run the remote wire from the aftermarket deck to the pink wire.

If all your 4×4 fuses and wiring are intact with no lights at all your tccm would be the first thing to do. If you notice afterward that it shows a normal 2 hi but malfunctions in 4wd try the steps above. Any noise along the way pinpoint it and have that component inspected.

It does not go completely black instantly. It ‘dims’ similar to the way the dimmer switch would, slowly, and usually ends up the way the dimmer would be if it was all the way to the bottom, where everything is almost completely black. The only thing i can barely see is the gear selector shows very dimly.
