What should I do about my Hilux clunking noise?
There should be a spacer on the bottom and top pin where the shocks fit, it should fit the side nearest to the chassis on the top and at the bottom in the inside, should be about 2-3mm spacer (thick washer). 2nd the front leafspring bush could be worn. 3rd the shocks bushes could be worn.

It’s looking like it’s a bad axle. Slop in the right cv joint closest to the rear end. Hell…….there is no issue there at all. That is normal tolerance stacking. Clearance in the splines of the axle shafts & the gear set. Quit playing with it and ride it. You have to pay attention to the bands on the axle boots.
