Why is my GM Delco relay not working?
A bad solid state relay was the culprit. I removed it, looked it up to find the replacement, and noticed it was not OEM, but one from a local box store. The one right next to it in the fuse block was an original AC Delco part, and was still working fine, so I made sure I ordered an original to replace it.
Where is the relay on a GM Trailblazer?
After Googling the issue, it appears to be a common problem with this vehicle as well as several other GM vehicles. For the Trailblazer, it simply meant ordering this part and replacing the #46 relay in the fuse box under the hook (on the driver’s side of the engine compartment). No tools needed.
