Why is the sunshade on my Toyota Avalon not working?

Current price to repair rear shade is $1800- $1100 for the part and 5 hours of labor- extremely poor design and one of the most likely planned obsolescence’s scenario’s I have ever seen- in other words Toyota is taking advantage of their customers. There is no reason for problems like this in a $42,000.00 vehicle.
Why does my Toyota Avalon make a grinding noise?
Rear sun shade make terrible grinding noise. rear sunshade visor broke and loud noise from visor motor when you put the car in reverse. last a minute then stops. cant believe no recall after seeing all the complaints about the same thing. Not sure why this began to happen.
Can you remove the fuse on a 2014 Toyota Avalon?
Can’t remove fuse on 2014 as there are other items on same circuit. Rear shade makes horrible noise whenever the car is put in reverse. It lasts until the shade goes up or down. Happens consistently, we have been advised by the dealer to remove the fuse as the repair is extremely costly.
