It starts immediately with the choke on. When I turn the choke off, it sputters very heavy and shuts off. I am running 100% pure gas with no ethanol now. With choke on, it pretty much purrs. When choke goes off, it dies, sometimes within seconds.

Is the Honda autochoke covered under the warranty?
For service issues that are NOT safety-related, Honda issues the Service Bulletin to dealers only. This Autochoke issue is not safety-related, and is covered under the factory warranty. Safety-related issues are Product Recalls, and Honda will always send notification to registered owner by mail.
Is it possible to get a bad Honda engine?
