What does speedtronic do on a Mercedes Benz?
From what I understand. Speedtronic is part of the cruise control system that allows the driver to adjust the speed (basically the accel. and coast function). If your cruise control works now, i personally wouldn’t worry about it…..but i’d say get it checked out if it persist. the rear hatch problem i’d say get that checked out….rightaway.
What does it mean when speedtronic says inoperative?
Out of the blue I got a message that said, Speedtronic Inoperative, and my cruise stopped working. I pulled over and shut the car down and restarted. The message went away, and then it said 2 messages then it went back to no messages. I called MB from the car, and first off it took exactly 21 min for them to answer the call.
How to deactivate variable speedtronic in a car?
►Briefly pull the cruise control lever towards you 3. If you call up the stored speed and your current speed is higher, you will hear a warning tone. The Limit Exceeded message appears in the multifunction display. If no speed is stored, variable SPEEDTRONIC stores the current speed and maintains it. Deactivating variable SPEEDTRONIC
How do you set cruise control on Speedtronic?
►Briefly press the cruise control lever up 1 or down 4. The current speed is stored and shown in the multifunction display. On downhill gradients, the speed can be exceeded despite variable SPEEDTRONIC. If this is the case, you will hear a warning tone and the Limit Exceeded message appears in the multifunction display.
