What does it mean when your dirt bike is leaking oil?
Most dirt bikes have a rubber oil seal around the shaft to keep the oil in the engine. Shift shaft case bore is cracked and leaking oil. This rubber will get hard over time and lose some of its seal, causing a leak. Excessive wear from a lot of use or dirty oil can also ruin the shift shaft seal.
What type of oil does a 125cc Apollo dirt bike take?
It is OK to put in 100% synthetic oil, since its summer here, I use 20-50 wt, 4 stroke motorcycle oil, off the shelf at Walmart for about 10 bucks, instead of 15+ in Motorcycle store. (never go back to conventional oil after you use synthetic). I use it because of reduced friction increases RPM and power.

You’ll be able to “feel” when the actuator arm is pushing in on the pressure plate. I just run whatever 10W-40 oil I find in my DRZ110. Couple more questions, why are there two drain plugs on the engine, and these things don’t have oil filters right?
