The temp gauge in the cluster popped up to 300, held, dropped out. TC was locked, it unlocked, truck went into nuetral, SLAMMED into 4th, locked TC, shifted into 5th, unlocked TC, locked TC, popped into nuetral. So basically the Allison was PMS’ing and I had no idea what to do other than throw chocolate at her from a distance.

Driving home from a day at the lake (2 hour drive), the DIC ping’d a “Trans Hot Idle” message, then went into limp mode. It wasn’t normal limp mode, though. It didn’t downshift to third, and hold there until I slowed down and could clear the code.
