What causes no crank and u0100 lost communication with ECM?
All the trouble was caused by a mouse chewing through some wires under the battery and fuse box. I was just going to say to check the fuse box under the hood. Mine has rattled itself loose twice. Bolted it back down after inspecting for damage and everything went back to normal.

When does the BCM stop communicating with other modules?
