What are torque specs for Nissan transmission pan?
Needing to swap out the gasket in our 2000 I30T auto trans pan. Does anyone know the amount of fluid needed to put back into the tranny after I’ve drained it? Also, what are the torque specs for the 21 bolts holding the pan to the transmission? Couldn’t find the exact info online, hoping someone has done this to their car and know what it takes.

Overtightening these bolts tends to strip the threads. Also the FSM recommends replacing the bolts with new ones – about $1 each from a dealer. They have an orange anaerobic sealant on the threads. Draining and dropping the pan will empty out about 6 quarts of ATF.
