Only real complaint is the car is too low to the ground and your likely to have to replace the oil pan, I think the car would run even if all the wires were cut, amazing. Door latch went out as did the aux fan, relay. Got great get up and go. The thermostat is a real pain to replace.

The great thing is overall the Passat has a very solid substantial feel on the road, you feel confident and safe when driving it. Its also an excellent highway cruiser. The main problem these cars have (especially the V6 models) is very slight coolant and engine oil leaks which can be fixed by getting gaskets seals and hoses replaced.
