What is going on with Webkinz?
Ganz, the company that owns the Webkinz brand, has announced that it will permanently delete all archived, inactive accounts on October 1st, 2019. If you’ve left your account inactive for more than a year and don’t log in by September 30th, your pet will be deleted forever.
Is Webkinz not working?
Due to recent changes in Webkinz World, some players are currently experiencing problems while logging into the game. If this issue is affecting you, please clear your cache, close and restart your browser and then try logging in again. This should help most players.

Analysis: Webkinz is an anomolous product developed by the privately held Ganz, a 58 year old gift company that makes plush toys, fashion accessories, fragrant candles, and other items you might buy your second grade teacher for Christmas.
Does Webkinz still make plush?
We can now officially state that there will be no new Webkinz plush in 2019 and that the Narwhal will be the final plush toy of the “first generation” of Webkinz plush. After 14 years and over 500 unique pets, this generation of the toy line had run its course.

Why can’t I log into my old Webkinz account?
As many Webkinz players know, if you don’t log into your Webkinz.com for a year, your account becomes “archived”. Normally, if a player wants access to an archived account, we’re able to restore it within 24 hours. Due to Webkinz X, however, we are temporarily unable to restore archived accounts.

We are pleased to announce that we will soon be releasing a NEW Desktop App that no longer uses Flash Player at all. This version will allow you to play Webkinz for years to come! And there is no need to wait.

We are working on fixing this, but in the meantime, if you are using a Mac, we suggest that you try opening Webkinz in a different browser. If you are not using a Mac and Firefox but are still experiencing difficulty logging on, please let us know in the comments section below which browser and which version of Flash you are using.
Do you need two adoption codes for Webkinz classic?
HOWEVER, when you purchase our NEW Webkinz Next plush, each one comes with TWO Adoption Codes: one for Webkinz Next and one for Webkinz Classic. You can use these two codes to adopt the same pet onto both versions of the game.
