Down sides: Slow. 0-60 with the 2.4L engine is at least 11 seconds but it’s fine in daily driving. Just start picking up speed early on an on-ramp lol. Ride is very bouncy but bumps are also harsh. It’s not brilliant, to say the least, but in a truck with a huge steering wheel, a cloth bench seat and crank windows, it’s very fitting.
