Is there a temp sensor on a Ski Doo SDI?
I have a 2007 Ski-Doo MX Z 600 HO SDI. When I was adding oil the other day, I noticed a wire going into the muffler. What is this? I figured it might be a temp sensor, but that doesn’t make any sense, either. Yes, the wire running down into the muffler is indeed a temperature sensor.

Bad news is its probably the computer box went south on you. I borrowed my neighbor’s sled for some family that came into town. His sleds are supposed to be tuned every season well the computer went out on us about 16+ miles back in the pow. Same thing no spark. Chit that was expensive incl. diagnostic $600.

What’s the difference between a 600ho and 600 SDI snowmobile?
Fuel economy is the biggest difference between the carbed 600ho and the 600 sdi. Also I have found that the sdi uses about 25% less oil as well. Performance is exactly the same. Cold starting is amazing and all you do is pull the rope or hit the starter button, than leave it alone to warm up.
