Is there a problem with my Dodge Patriot?

When did Jeep stop using the CVT transmission?
Interstingly enough, Jeep ceased using the cvt transmission in 2014 after only 2 years- im assuming this problem has something to do with it. Second complain about transmission failure. Vehicle needs new transmission again after 3 years from being replaced.
