Is there a problem with driver side door lock?
Driver side door locks doesn’t lock or unlock using key. However passenger door and trunk door opens fine with same key. Door lock will not turn with key . Can’t get the key in the lock.. door lock problem ,key goes half way in and thats it.sounds like a common problem to me,needs to be a recall.

Can a slimjim unlock a right side door?
YES, ANOTHER TECH. Probably a locksmith with a slimjim. A couple years ago a friend came by with a right side door -same problem-. Key won’t unlock it, lock knob won’t unlock it, door handle wont open it and you can’t take the door panel off without the door open.
