Is the Yamaha 450 a Kodiak or Kodi 700?
Not many 450 owners here as it is a brand new addition to the yamaha atv line -so you’re going to be the lucky first ones who learn about it and help others. Kinda like the Kodi 700 was a couple years back …new motor, new everything .
Is there an automatic CVT on a Yamaha 450?
I know Yamaha did not engineer the machine to abruptly lurch into motion upon accelerating (every single time), b/c the other 450 on the showroom floor doesn’t do it at all and b/c NO OTHER atv with an automatic CVT from any manufacturer does this unless it is not operating correctly.
Is it normal for Kodiak 450 transmission to wear out?
It is sudden, it is abrupt, and it is not normal. I fear it will cause premature wear on the transmission components.
