Is the upper plenum intake torqued to 10ft?
Ya new gasket and new bolts just in case the old ones were stressed but i doubt it with it only needing to be torqued to 10ft lb. I pulled the upper intake back off and checked the deck on the lower intake and its nice and flat. So im hoping that it was just a bad stroke of luck, and with the new upper this wont happen.

Is it OK to use RTV on Plenum bolts?
DO NOT use RTV. It won’t make a difference as the spacer is plastic and acts as one large gasket. The car is probably stalling because it’s too lean. I’ve installed two of them without torquing to spec and had not issues.
