Unlike most companies who sell a rebuilt 22RE, our engines come completely remanufactured with an assortment of upgraded Parts specifically designed to increase the performance and longevity of a 22R long block. Due to the shortage of cores available for this engine, we are currently requesting that customers send us their cores to be built.

Do you need a rebuilt CYL head for a 22R?
’85-’95 22R AND 22RE re-manufactured long blocks come with a rebuilt or new cyl head. ’79-’84 22R and 20R re-manufactured long blocks come with a rebuilt head. Built per customer order. You will need to use some of your timing cover bolts due to the use of A/C or not.We also have early 22R blocks with 20R cyl head available.
Is there a 22R / 22RE engine ready to ship?
