Is tail light and brake light the same bulb?
In many vehicles, the brake lights and the tail lights are located on the same globe. In other words, the same external covering is over both lights. Your vehicle’s might be a bit unique, with separate globes. On most vehicles, the tail lights are red and the brake lights are a more luminous red.
Can you replace tail lights with LED lights?
It is not too difficult to replace your tail lights with LED bulbs, as long as you find the right one to fit your car. LED bulbs can simply be swapped into your car in most cases, although some might require extra components to get them to work properly, which I’ll cover below.
Can I replace my car bulbs with LED?
No. High-quality LED or HID conversion kits will not damage your headlight assemblies or your vehicle’s power supply. However, cheap and low-quality kits can as a result of their high operating wattage amongst other things.
What happens when the tail light goes out?
When the filament inside the bulb breaks it cannot illuminate the gas enclosed within the glass cover. This burnt-out bulb does not affect the circuitry of the light system and it continues to function normally. You may have to remove the cover of the tail light.

When you have located the fuse for the tail lights use a fuse tester to check the connection. If the tester lights up – your fuse is functioning fine. If it does not light up then, replace the fuse with another of the similar amperage and size. In many instances, you can see the break in the metal strip of the fuse.
