Is soar virtual UNCC?
To attend SOAR, register online at soar.uncc.edu. All new students must complete Virtual SOAR, an online pre-orientation program prior to attending SOAR in person. After registering for a SOAR session, students will receive an email with instructions on how to complete Virtual SOAR.
Can I change my soar date?
The system will NOT allow you to change orientation workshop dates once you select the Confirm Sign Up button. If you are unable to attend your workshop due to extenuating circumstances, please contact SOAR as soon as possible or within 24 hours of your scheduled workshop date to reschedule.
How long is UNCC soar?

- B. Select the BeachBoard icon.
- C. Under My Courses, click on Pre-SOAR BeachBoard Course – Freshman course to get started.
How long does soar last?
The cost covers orientation materials, programming costs, refreshments and meals (one meal for the 1-Day session and three meals for the 2-Day session). For students attending the 2-Day session, lodging on campus during SOAR is encouraged!
