Point is, i believe it is normal wear/slack in the rear diff. Nothing to worry about if you have no noises while driving or vibes. 1) stop truck and put into neutral with foot on brake. 3) wait till the truck stops moving. Mine always rolls a hair or two. 4) press foot brake then shift into park.

The warranty guy wants us to drive it for about a week (unless there are serious clunks continuing) and then report back to him. He is suspecting something faulty in the emergency brake switch. He thinks it may be in the switch itself that is pressed to put it on and off.
