How to reset the memory on a Jeep Grand Cherokee?

Matt Hardy : Try a “cap-discharge” to reset all the computers on the Jeep. Disconnect both battery cables from the battery. Then, connect the 2 cables together for 10 minutes. This will clear all the memories and remove any lingering charge. Then, reconnect the battery and retest the memory system.
