Do you need a head gasket on a Chevy truck?
While its impossible to say the trans is fine or almost just or anywhere in between… But if the truck is well maintained, I don’t see any reason not to pull the heads and do head gaskets. I don’t see why that is ‘opening a can of worms’ to do that if it needs done.
