How do you test for ICP?
Intracranial pressure (ICP) monitoring is a diagnostic test that helps your doctors determine if high or low cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) pressure is causing your symptoms. The test measures the pressure in your head directly using a small pressure-sensitive probe that is inserted through the skull.
How long does a HPOP last?
For stock tunes, I expect they will last several hundred thousand miles. However, once you start with the power adders (tuner, chip, etc) most pumps are not strong enough even with your relative low milage. I replaced mine at 110,000 because it couldn’t keep up with my tunes, but it held fine stock.
What happens if you have ICP?

What should the ICP read on a 6.0 at idle?
Normal readings at idle for a warm engine are 400-550 psi .
Why does high pressure oil drop the ICP?
Something has got to give as they say and it happens. If there is a lot of engine vibration it could shake a sensor or solenoid loose and allow high pressure oil to sneak by and drop the ICP down substantially. The engine brake solenoid is a common component that loosens off and creates issues.
Why is the high pressure oil pump not working?
The high pressure oil pump which is accessory driven off the engine creates the high pressure oil that is sent to the manifold to operate the injectors and engine brake. When pressure drops there will be an engine code and poor engine performance. The injectors are not performing because of leakage in the ICP system.
Can a high pressure manifold cause a leak?
With the right fittings from your local hardware store you can test the injection high pressure manifold that can cause diesel performance problems on a MaxxForce DT when it develops an oil leak. As the video shows there is a substantial leak on this manifold.
What to do about high pressure oil leak?
Found the video online about the STC fitting and took engine apart again to find that the STC fitting was actually bad and got the new replacement part and put it in. Put the engine back together and it started and ran. Let it run a while to warm up and shut it off. Cranked it again and it started.
