In order to set your Toyota Corolla’s ignition timing you must first connect a jumper wire between the Data Link Connecter’s (DLC1) terminals TE1 and E1. Then using a timing gun adjust the distributor until the mark on the crankshaft pulley aligns with the 10 degree mark on the timing belt cover.
