How do you reset the TPMS on a 2009 Jaguar XF?
Locate the tire pressure monitor reset button beneath the steering wheel. Hold the TPMS reset button until the tire pressure light blinks 3 times, then release. Inflate all tires to 3 PSI over the recommended amount, then deflate them completely. Once they’re all deflated, reinflate to the recommended tire pressure.
How to fix TPMS fault on a Jaguar XF?
Take the fuse out (don’t know which it is for the XJ but it’s no. 33 in the boot fuse box for the XF), cycle the ignition (the warning will stay on with the fuse out). Then replace the fuse and the warning should have cleared next time the ignition is turned on. Ok I will give that a go… time to break out the manual!
Can you pull the fuse on a TPMS fault?
As it should. Pulling the fuse is the quick/ last resort, option. Glad all is well again. Yup, there is a good old delay before the fault warning kicks in or clears. I live with the fault message through winter, seems odd when it disappears in summer.
Do you need TPMs on a 2014 XF saloon?
Edit: I should probably add, this is for a 2014 XF saloon. Someone need to confirm as I don’t have TPMS option but I remember reading that they will be automatically recognized after a while without any other intervention. No sense opening up a new thread since there’s already one going.
Do you have to reset the TPMS after a tire change?
You may not know that you have to reset the TPMS after the wheel change, and if your car was never equipped with these tires before, you need to program the sensors to your car. If the tire pressure sensor fault message appeared after the tire change – you might need to program the sensors.

Why does the TPMS light keep turning off and on?
The tire pressure in all four tires is OK. As I understand it, this shows that the tire pressure monitoring system is having a problem reading the pressure of the tires, but then, why would the TPMS light turn off and on, instead of staying on? Could the fact that I recently changed the front tires have anything to do with it?
