Can you manually close the moonroof?

Why is my sunroof not working?
Check the sunroof wiring as a short can cause it to stop working. If there is no resistance, then the wiring is fine. If there is high resistance, however, then there is a short and the wires must be replaced. Clean the sunroof tracks, as dirt and debris can cause the sunroof to become stuck open.
Why does my sunroof open but not close?
There are several different versions of sunroofs; most open and close automatically with the touch of a button. Is the moonroof open all night in a Subaru?
If it’s not raining the glass is usually open and otherwise the shade is open when I’m in the car. I had to get into the habit of closing the shade at the end of the day, otherwise it can be too easy to forget & leave the glass open all night. In winter that extra light coming into the cabin really brightens things up.
