How do you fix fuel line quick connect?
Unplug the connection and wipe some grease on the male end. Plug it in and out a couple times. That lubes and softens the o-ring in the bung. I don’t think that o-ring is in the parts book either.
Is there an O ring on the fuel line quick connect?
Quick connect/disconnect leaks like crazy when I hook it up. Is there supposed to be an O ring on it or is there another trick? How do you change fuel pressure on a Harley Davidson?
I’m brand new to Harley’s. That is the fuel quick disconnect. You have to pull the fuel pump fuse and crank the engine then or you will get a bath when you disconnect it, there’s about 50# of fuel pressure in there.. There’s an “O” ring in there that may need replacing.
Why is fuel leaking from the quick disconnect fitting?
As soon as the key is turned on the fuel line will pressurize that is if the fuel pump is working correctly. The bike will not start without the fuel line being pressurized. I know you tried this but just in case you didn’t you have to pull down the quick disconnect fitting on the tank for it to seat correctly.

Use this Irwin Quick Grip clamp that I modified myself with a notch, to install fittings along with a normal flare tool. Just don’t clamp flare down too tight…just enough to hold line. What to do if your fuel tank is leaking?
End up draining the tank completely and turning the tank upside down on my workbench. Replace O ring, put back on and still leaking. Take back off and fiddle with the check valve.
