Are there any downsides to a Jeep Liberty?

The Liberty can haul heavier, accelerate a bit faster, and can be lifted to provide more ground clearance, or perhaps put some lockers on. The downside is poor reliability and poor fuel economy. In stock form I don’t see the point, so if I kept her I’d have to mod.
