How do you close the back window on a Jeep Liberty?

- Locate the release button behind the latch on the tailgate.
- Depress the release button. Press down on the lift glass to close it.

Do you get dings on your Jeep Liberty?
Discussion in ‘ KJ General Discussion ‘ started by redpoint5, Apr 15, 2012 . I just bought a 2002 Jeep Liberty Sport 4×4 3.7L w/ 104k miles for $5k. Well, now for the problems… 1. While driving, every 10 seconds or so I get a ding, the interior lights come on, and the odometer displays “glass”.
Are there any downsides to a Jeep Liberty?
The Liberty can haul heavier, accelerate a bit faster, and can be lifted to provide more ground clearance, or perhaps put some lockers on. The downside is poor reliability and poor fuel economy. In stock form I don’t see the point, so if I kept her I’d have to mod.
