How do you bypass an Interlock Device?
Ways people have attempted to bypass the IID include:
- Using a balloon to blow alcohol-free breath into the device,
- Having a friend blow a clean breath into the device,
- Disconnecting the wires on the device,
- Sucking on a penny,
- Eating mints or chewing gum, or.
- Blowing through a filter.
Can you get off interlock early?
RMS will advise you when your Interlock program has been completed. After this you may go to a Service NSW centre or your local registry to be reissued your licence with the Interlock condition removed. It is possible to have your Interlock Device removed early without completing your interlock program.
Can you unplug intoxalock?
