What causes the low warning light to go off on a Jaguar?
I assume the sensor cables are just a plain wire that causes an electrical connection with the sensor control unit when it shorts against the disc, in which case if this is true then removing the sensor cable altogether should eliminate the low warning message capability I would have thought so. I believe one wheel at the front and one at the back?

Beware though there are 2 types depending on the disc diameter you have so measure it while you are in there.
Is there a reset for brake pad wear sensor reset?
Brake pad wear sensor reset. As it sounds. Is there a reset for wear sensors. Just fitted new ones and still hot the warning on dash. Miffed!! No if the car is reporting low break pad wear the only way to clear the message is to replace the sensor. Or a broken wire in the cable to a sensor.

Is the brake sensor still attached to the disc?
The sensor cables look OK (externally) and the face of the sensor (attached to the brake pad) still appears to have sufficient clearance from the disc.
