Does MAP sensor affect transmission?
A faulty MAP sensor can cause late, harsh shifts, early / soft shifts, or even prevent the transmission from shifting at all. When the PCM fails, the transmission can stop shifting, shift harsh or soft, or cause complete transmission failure. Some vehicles use TCM (transmission control module) rather than PCM.
Where is the MAS located on a LS1?
Many different part numbers exist for this application, especially if you are swapping in a different motor than just a LS1, part number 19207203 is the most common one. The MAS is a very easy part to recognize and is located in the intake tract before the throttle plate, connected by a 5 or 6 pin weatherproof connector.
How is the intake of air determined by the PCM?
The intake of air changes density as it expands and contracts with atmospheric pressure and temperatures. Some values the MAS measures and records is air temperature, altitude, volumetric flow and barometric pressure that the PCM interprets to determine the quantity of intake air in each piston stroke.

Where is the IAT sensor located on the intake manifold?
It ensures optimum combustion and efficient fuel consumption. Where Is the IAT Sensor Located? The Intake Air Temperature Sensor is located somewhere on your intake pipes between the air filter and the intake manifold. It is often integrated with the MAF Sensor. Often, it is also installed on the intake manifold.
Where are the ground wires for the ECM that I need to check?
Where exactly are the ground wires for the ecm that I need to check and how many are there? The bulletin says to check the ground wires for the communication network lines which are lines h and l. But I can not find any specifics on where these grounds are for the ecm.

What is coming soon on the grounded roadmap?
The “Coming soon” section of the Grounded roadmap is going to be the most dynamic section. This area will feature content that is up next. How far away this content is from release will vary greatly, with some items taking longer to develop than others. The “Planned” area of the Feature Board is for items on the agenda that are even further away.
How does the air conditioner affect the PCM?
The Air Conditioner Sensor signals the PCM when the air condition is on or off. The AC switch will affect engine RPM at a stop. A malfunctioning AC switch can result in problems that feel as though they are transmission related. Transmission Range Sensor (TR)/ Transmission Position Sensor
