We definitely prefer the XC60, though. By comparison, the XC70 rides less comfortably and feels unwieldy. It doesn’t tow as well either, proving less settled at speed and getting shoved around by the caravan in the emergency lane-change test. I sold my 2000 (W) V70 2. 4T SE Geartronic in favour of the 2005 (05) V70 D5 SE Geartronic. but as yet,I have not towed with it other than around the storage area when repositioning the tourer during fencing work being carried out. I was pleasantly surprised to hear that another CT member (outnumbered) is also on the Volvo Community Forum.
