Can a Veloster shift out of Park after a dead battery?
My veloster did the same thing after a depleted battery. Charged it up and those various things happened. Including the shift locked into Park. Disconnected battery for 1/2 hour and then connected it back. Everything was totally back to normal functioning. Most automatic transmissions have a hidden switch that will allow you to bypass the lock.

Why does my Veloster Turbo push button not work?
The fact that it all lights up but doesn’t start, tells me it’s not the fob (if it was the fob then nothing would light up).
Can a car shift out of Park after a dead battery?
After having a dead battery, can’t shift out of park! Wife had a short run with the car a couple of days ago. She came back home and parked it at night as the temperature started to drop. It’s been -1 to -14 for the temp right now so the battery decided to drain.
