Can a 350 Brembo be used for hard track?
I find the front standard 350 brembo’s are not really up to hard track use, even with good pads , discs and fluid. Brakes seem to be a hot topic at the moment! The 350’s brembos are very good they are just in need of a proper set of pads, braided hoses and fluid that can cope.

These are a great unit and really, there’s no need for you to go with a 350z big brake kit any bigger than these unless you’re heading to the track. Even then, the OEM 350z Brembos are probably more than enough for those heading to club events. While the factory z33 brakes aren’t terrible, the OEM pads could be better.
Which is better Akebono or 370Z front calipers?
Similar to pad knockback but a lot worse. There is a reason why 370z has bigger discs! Akebono upgrade is the cheapest option and you only really need to do it with the front calipers. How to upgrade Brembo brakes to OEM 350Z?
Install the new rotor, then the Brembo caliper exactly in reverse of how you took off the OEM calipers. Torque everything down tight. Refer to Factory Service Manual for exact numbers.

How much does an OEM Brembo brake kit cost?
There are many, many aftermarket options for big brake kits, however the OEM Brembo kit that came on the 350z track editions is a great setup. Finding a set lightly used can be relatively cheap ($1000-$1500 for all 4 wheels commonly).
