I’ve searched at other people’s turn signal problems, but mine is a bit different in that the left and right turn signals don’t work when I try flipping the left hand stalk up or down. The hazard lights don’t go through the turn signal switch, but they use the same flasher relay, so it’s highly unlikely that the turn signal switch is the culprit. Check the fuse and flasher. Check for voltage at the flasher with the hazard switch on.

Is the hazard switch on a Toyota blinker working?
Yes, the circuit for the blinkers does run through the hazard switch. I had my dash apart and had to replace the turn signal switch assembly but could not get the blinkers to work until I read this. Also verified in my Haynes manual that shows this as well.
