Are there any problems with the ml270 CDI?
I also have an ML270 Cdi and I have had the dash lights thing. Mine was a faulty wheel speed sensor. If this has a fault it will bring on every light to do with the ABS system and will also prevent the cruise control from working.

Mercedes-Benz improved some designs and address several of the problems on the list above. The later models had less problems compared to the first few years of production, specifically the 1998 and 1999 model years. Another thing to keep in mind is that Mercedes-Benz ML, especially ML430 and ML500 are great truck for towing.

Can you swap relays on a Mercedes ml270?
If not check try swapping out the relays, (yellow) before you do write on their original location on the top (K XX) and check the model numbers to make sure you swap over with the same. There is a possibility.

To release the connections, just squeeze the white clip IN, this causes the jaws of the fitting to expand and allow you to pull out the connection (whilst still squeezing the clip). ps…………check for leaks from any of the 3 ‘caps’ of the high pressure pump as they have been known to leak fuel which will also cause air to enter the system.

There is a possibility. MLs suffer from machine gun locks and people do stupid things to eliminate the problem including partially disconnecting the central locking system and removing the fuse F42 20 amp. I solved my problem by cleaning the lock mechanisms.

Pull the ABS motor straight out. At the center of the ABS module there is an O “cap” metal ring. Be careful not to pull that out with the ABS motor.
