Are there any issues with the Honda EXL V6?
So in reading through a number of posts on this board I get the sense that the 2008 Accord EXL V6 Auto is prone to be problematic, already we have experienced a number of minor issues (rattles, paint, tires, something underneath bending, and brakes)…
Is the new Honda Accord going to have a V6?
As we previously reported, the upcoming 10th generation Accord, due in 2018, will ditch the naturally aspirated V6 for a pair of turbocharged four-cylinders. While Honda has promised an optional 2.0 turbo-four that will be more powerful than today’s V6 (278 hp), it won’t have the same sound and feeling, and that matters.
What happens when I try to start my Honda Accord?
Foot on brake, in park, and push button and all the dash lights flashed as long as I held the start button. Did not crank. Other electrical seems to work fine – accessories, key fob, etc. What to do? Have you tried putting the shift selector into neutral and then try to start it ? It sounds like an electrical/switch problem in the starting system.
How to find out if my Honda Accord has a recall?
Before you spend money call this number 1 (888) 234-2138 Honda Recall line. Provide them with your VIN number to see if your car has a recall in it. I am experiencing the same thing with my 2014 Honda EXL. I will be calling the dealership for them to schedule my appointment to have this problem fixed.

What kind of engine does the Honda Accord EX L have?
Stand-out features for the Accord’s EX-L trim can vary a bit based on model year and generation. On the ninth-generation 2017 Accord EX-L, you’ll find either a 2.4L four-cylinder engine or a 3.5L V6 under the hood, in addition to plush leather upholstery for an air of sophistication inside the cabin.
