Are there any issues with my 2014 Grand Cherokee?
2014 Diesel Grand Cherokee exhaust filter issues… I moved into a 2014 Grand Cherokee Overland Diesel in December, 2013. So far I love the vehicle…except for one thing. Twice in its first 6400 miles (first at 3200 then again at 6400) the display told me that the exhaust filter was nearly full and to drive at highway speeds to recycle it.
What kind of oil does a Jeep Grand Cherokee use?
I also own a 2014 grand jeep Cherokee diesel , I also had dpf troubles but I own my own scan tool to carry out the regen when needed, however it has not been a problem since I changed to a grade of oil made here in Australia called Penrite. This company has made a high quality diesel oil to counteract PDF problems.
Is there a problem with the Jeep Grand Cherokee transfer case?
We had the same problem with our 2008 Grand Cherokee in January getting ready to tow it to Florida. Dealer had to replace the transfer case servo motor with a new updated design. But, it took 6 weeks to get the new one. Nothing under warranty or no help from Chrysler on the charges tho.
Is the exhaust filter on my Grand Cherokee working?
Within 6 hours of the warning coming up the vehicle was in limp home mode, barely making 20 mph, despite having driven it at highway speeds as instructed. Has anyone else had this problem? The dealership told me that I need to drive it over an hour to just start the regeneration process with the filter, and then drive it some more to accomplish it.

2014 Jeep GC Eco Diesel Limited, 3 months old at 6k miles………. This is whats going on. As of the past few days when I remote start it shuts off immediately. I have been remote starting from day 1 without any issues except for the one time it wouldn’t start due to very low fuel left in tank which is a good thing as not to bring it any lower.
