Why won t my motorcycle start when hot?
Some ignition coils will not sprk when hot. You need to touch the coils and feel it at the time of no-start. If the coil/s r burning hot that could be the culprit. Also best to check for spark at the plug end at the time to verify.

Fuel pump check valve doesn’t maintain pressure in the fuel rail so it boils and then you have to crank excessively to get rid of the vapor before it will start. Bought a 1972 Chevelle 350 a couple years ago. Every time I drove it it wouldn’t restart easily or sometimes not at all unless I waited a while.

Found that when bike is hot, doesn’t want to start. It doesn’t stall when hot, but if I shut it off it doesn’t want to restart. So far, if I sit there and hit the start button enough it will finally fire, but concerned that one day it won’t start.

Hard starting when hot! New to Harley world, been riding metrics. Recently bought ’07 Ultra, rode to D.C. this weekend. Found that when bike is hot, doesn’t want to start. It doesn’t stall when hot, but if I shut it off it doesn’t want to restart.
