Why is there a DSc warning light on my Jaguar XJ?
The DSC warning light is for the driver stability control system and is related to an ABS problem. If this warning light has appeared on the dashboard, the most likely cause of this warning light is a faulty ABS sensor. You will need to run a diagnostic check to correctly identify exactly which wheel the faulty sensor is on.
What to do if you get a message on your Jaguar dash?
The air suspension system is too low. Start the engine and wait for the message to clear before driving the vehicle. If the message is displayed while you are driving, restrict your speed until the message is cleared. If the message is persistently shown, inform your Jaguar Dealer. The driver’s and/or one or more passenger doors are open.
What to do if your Jaguar XJ has DPF?
You can take the car onto a motorway and drive at about 2500rpm for about 10 miles to allow the DPF to get hot enough to burn off these unwanted particles. This should turn off the DPF warning light on the dashboard.
When does stability control failure occur in a car?
The indicator reads “stability control failure” and the ABS symbol also illuminates. The failure tends to occur after the car has been driven on a hot day, then stopped for about one-half hour, parked in the sun, and restarted. Once the failure occurs during a day, it tends to remain for the rest of the day (but not always).

When does the DSC light flash on a Jaguar?
Displayed when a fault occurs in the stability control system (Dynamic Stability Control). DSC light will flash when the program is operational and stabilising the vehicle. When the system is switched OFF manually, the warning light in the instrument cluster will be illuminated until the system is switched back ON.
What causes a DSc fault on a JAG Indy?
If so it points to a wheel speed sensor. You need a Jag Indy or someone with Mongoose to interrogate the ABS system. Common fault for DSC errors is a fault on the ABS sensors. The front ones are usually the problem and it is the loom rather than the sensor. Check for wear/damage to the loom.
